FOUR TEAM BRACKET

In a double-elimination tournament with four teams, the tournament proceeds as follows:

First Round:
– Team 1 plays against Team 2.
– Team 3 plays against Team 4.

Winners’ Bracket:
– The winner of the first match in the first round moves to the winners’ bracket.
– The winner of the second match in the first round moves to the winners’ bracket.

Losers’ Bracket:
– The losers of the first-round match move to the losers’ bracket.

Second Round:
– The winner from the winners’ bracket plays against the winner from the losers’ bracket.
– The loser from the winners’ bracket plays against the loser from the losers’ bracket.

Final Rounds:
– The second-round winner from the winners’ bracket advances directly to the championship round, remaining undefeated.
– The loser of the second round from the winners’ bracket moves to the losers’ bracket finals.
– The second-round winner from the losers’ bracket moves to the losers’ bracket finals.

Losers’ Bracket Finals:
– The losers’ bracket finals winner moves to the championship round.

Championship Round:
– The undefeated team from the winners’ bracket plays against the team that advanced from the losers’ bracket.


GAMES PLAYED

Four rounds are played to crown a champion in this double-elimination tournament with four teams.

Teams are eliminated as follows:
– Teams that lose in the winners’ bracket are moved to the losers’ bracket.
– Teams that lose in the losers’ bracket are eliminated from the tournament.

Each team in the tournament plays a minimum of two games. However, if a team advances to the championship round through the winners’ bracket, they may only play two games, whereas teams that go through the losers’ bracket play at least three games.
