The LegalHoops’ Division 2 Chair serves as the key liaison between the players, teams, and management, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing the overall experience of Division 2. This role involves regularly interacting with the two qualifying players on the roster and actively addressing their concerns and feedback to improve the product and foster a positive environment within the division.
Responsibilities:
1. Communication and Coordination:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all Division 2 players and teams, maintaining open communication channels and providing timely updates on league activities, schedules, and policies.
– Facilitate effective communication between Division 2 players and LegalHoops’ management, conveying their feedback, suggestions, and concerns accurately and promptly.
2. Player Support and Conflict Resolution:
– Act as an advocate for Division 2 players, addressing any issues, grievances, or disputes that arise during competition or within the division.
– Proactively engage with players to understand their needs, concerns, and ideas regarding rules, regulations, and league format, and collaborate with LegalHoops’ management to find appropriate solutions.
– Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting sportsmanship, fairness, and respect within Division 2.
3. Product Enhancement and Divisional Improvement:
– Gather feedback from Division 2 players regarding the league format, competition structure, and overall player experience, and recommend improvements.
– Collaborate with LegalHoops’ management team to implement changes or modifications suggested by Division 2 players, ensuring that the division’s needs are adequately met.
– Identify areas for growth and enhancement within Division 2, proposing innovative ideas to attract more players and improve the quality of competition.
4. Rules and Compliance:
– Ensure Division 2 players are educated and informed about the league’s rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
– Monitor player compliance with league policies and promptly address violations or disciplinary issues in collaboration with LegalHoops’ management.
– Collaborate with LegalHoops’ management to ensure the enforcement of fair play, ethical behavior, and appropriate penalties for rule infractions within Division 2.
Qualifications:
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with Division 2 players and teams.
– Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities to professionally address player concerns or grievances.
– Familiarity with LegalHoops’ policies and procedures and a solid understanding of the Division 2 league format and requirements.
