This individual’s story began with a routine car inspection at a reputable dealership that would uncover events that tested his patience and resilience.

As this individual drove to the dealership, the warning light on the dashboard indicated low air pressure in the right back tire. When asked by the service manager if there were any known problems with the car, the individual showed the dashboard and tire to the service manager, explaining that the warning appeared while driving to the dealership, which was approximately a 50-mile drive.

After nearly three and a half hours of waiting, the individual and service manager reviewed the bill, which, according to the mechanic’s inspection, did not indicate a problem with the car’s brakes, fluids, and tires. The car had no problems at all. After reviewing the mechanic’s service report, without argument, this individual paid the bill and got into the car, where again, the persistent tire warning immediately greeted this individual.

Upon leaving, this individual noticed the service included a car wash but no vacuuming or valet service. The individual was given the car keys and shown by the service manager where one of the three valets on duty, now sitting on a bench, parked the car. However, within 10 miles of the dealership, disaster struck as the back right tire blew out. Despite getting a new promise to repair the car, the individual had concerns about whether the dealership completed the car’s initial maintenance service billed and paid, given the service manager’s attempts to avoid repair costs. Without provocation, the dealership manager handed the individual a dealership rental receipt, warning them to use it should the police stop their rental car.
